We haven’t even recovered from BTS’ historic Saturday Night Live performance last weekend, and now the comedy show has announced that yet another boyband will be taking the stage – the Jonas Brothers.
The trio will perform next month on May 11th, with actress Emma Thompson as the episode’s host. It will be the second time the Jonas Brothers will perform on the show. The last time they were guests was in 2009 (yes, 10 years ago!!), where they performed songs such as “Video Girl” and “Tonight.” Having just released their comeback single, “Sucker,” followed by “Cool,” fans can expect yet another rocking performance from the group. Who knows, maybe the guys will star in a sketch too? In 2009, the brothers appeared on a sketch called the “Fourth Jonas”, where Alec Baldwin was the host.
The Jonas Brothers will be one of three musical acts appearing on the show’s final episodes of their current season. Shawn Mendes and DJ Khaled have also been announced as performers for next month.
So, like SNL tweeted, “Mark Those Calendars,” because May will be a big month for SNL and music fans.
