During her middle school years, she used to watch the music videos by Big Bang and 2NE1 and that inspired her to become an idol.
Around the age of 17, ViVi started modeling.
Initially, her father did not want her to go to South Korea to pursue a career as a singer.
When she first came to Korea, it was really difficult for her as she did not even know Korean but her groupmates helped her a lot.
ViVi is also a member of the sub-unit Loona 1/3 alongside HaSeul, HeeJin, and HyunJin.
‘Viian Wong’ was the name she went by while modeling.
